Food Labels - Sugar & Fat
Some foods contain a variety of different types of sugar or fat and to make it just a little more confusing they can be called lots of different names. This can make it difficult to identify if the food actually contains large amounts of fat or sugar.

All nutritious sweeteners contain a similar amount of calories, ranging from 16 calories per teaspoon for white sugar (sucrose), to 20 calories for honey. It is important to note that even though you may consider honey to be the healthier option, it's still just sugar as far as your body is concerned. If you eat too much, it's stored as fat.
