What Diet? - Dieting Groups
There are a number of well established and very successful dieting groups that operate in the UK. Each group will have its own diet plans that members will be expected to follow. People pay to be members of the group and as part of the membership they will not only have access to the specially developed dieting plans they will also be able to attend regular weekly meetings to be weighed and measured and have the opportunity to network with other dieters and listen to the group leader give advice, tips and hints for successful dieting. 2. Slimming World - £4.50 per week + half price joining atm (£5)
3. Rosemary Conley diet and fitness clubs - £5.35 + free joining atm
4. Scottish Slimmers (Scotland only) - £5.30 +free joining atm

Some people find that dieting in groups is the only way to maintain the momentum and stick to the diet, others find a ‘public weighing’ to be too embarrassing and feel that the ‘shame’ factor is demoralising. As with all diets they will only work if you feel comfortable with it and it can easily become part of everyday life.
