Weight Charts
A good way to check if you are a healthy weight is to use the Body Mass Index (BMI). This is basically a height weight chart that provides an overview of the recommended minimum and maximum ranges, to give you a general idea of where you should be. However, they are not suitable for young children or older people and can only offer very general information and should only be used as a guide.

In this section we provide a some useful charts but suggest that you use them in combination with your own personal information. You are actually in a much better position to gauge whether you are a healthy weight or not - looking at yourself naked in a mirror is a very good way to assess your situation, as is looking at the way your clothes fit, and how you feel.
